Microdermabrasion and Diamond
Dermabrasion Professional Peel

Procedure

As we age, the automatic process of exfoliation and cell renewal slows down and sometimes the body needs a bit of help.Diamond microdermabrasion uses a diamond tip to exfoliate the outer layers of skin. This treatment works perfectly when used in conjunction with a skin peel. Microdermabrasion can be used to help remove stretch marks, acne, pigmentation and scar formations.

The Professional Peel Diamond Dermabrasion removes the topmost layer of skin by gently abrading the skin with aluminium oxide crystals while at the same time vacuuming the dead skin away in a sterile and controlled manner. Your trained Practitioner can control exactly the flow of crystals and the depth of the peeling, together with the vacuum pressure of the crystals on the skin. This ensures a level of safety superior to other peeling methods available. This unique approach to skin management removes dead and flaking skin cells and stimulates the production of fresh new skin cells, collagen and elastin.

This will deliver visible results for: the reduction of fine lines & wrinkles, dull & congested skin, sun damaged skin, ageing & thickened skin, scar tissue reduction, stretch mark reduction, acne scar reduction, pigmentation disorders, loss of elasticity, enlarged pores and blemishes and the extraction of Blackheads and Whiteheads

After Your Procedure

You may experience some redness and your skin may feel warmer/tighter than usual. This will start to improve over the few hours after treatment. Redness normally subsides completely after 24 hours. Some clients experience slight shedding, this is a natural side effect and nothing to worry about.

Make Up can be applied directly after treatment, although we do advise clients to wait at least 12 hours to enable products to work uninhibited.

You must avoid saunas, exercise and hot baths/showers until the redness has subsided. Be sure to avoid any intensive sunlight exposure and artificial UV exposure for at least 2-3 weeks after procedure.

Use tepid water and a non-irritant cleanser to cleanse the face following treatment. Continue this until redness has subsided. Always make sure that your hands are thoroughly clean when touching your face post-treatment.

Your practitioner will advise you of the correct skincare products to use for optimum results.
