By harnessing techniques based on core psychological principles, counselling and psychotherapies our in-house Counsellor and Life Coach can provide our Clients with the tools to confidently face difficult situations and push past emotional barriers. With over 30 years experience of working with people and understanding mental health as a qualified practitioner we are confident in our abilities to help you at this point in your life.
Basic Principles Behind Life Coaching
Subjectivity - we all have different perspectives of the world. No one's perspective is 'right' or 'wrong,' but some perspectives are restrictive and can stop a person from becoming who they want to be.
Empowerment - it is within everyone's capability to adjust the limits of their own perspective. With the help of life coaching, anyone can learn to open their mind if they wish.
Guidance - there is a difference between an instructor and a guide; an instructor shows a person exactly what to do, whereas a guide provides the tools and support a person needs to do something for themselves. A life coach is a guide, not an instructor.
Our Counsellor & Life Coach states:
"I can confidently say that I am in complete control of my life and have never been happier than I am in this moment in time. However, it has not always been this way for me. I believe that it is my past experiences and the life I have led that have made me choose a different path today- the path to being my best self knowing who I am, what I need and how to attain it.
"Throughout my life I have had many experiences, good and bad which have helped me to achieve the personal and professional life I now have. Some of these experiences include working as a Registered Mental Health Practitioner, managing several of my own successful business's, employing and building teams whilst working with many members of the public in a number of different settings . I have also consulted for businesses public and private sector as well as helping many individuals. I have also facilitated bespoke training in a wide range of settings, subjects and specialities including personal well being, growth and business start up, development and growth,
"I have helped many people through counselling and life coaching and I continue to develop my own private practice within the NHS and private sector. I specialise in supporting individuals who wish to be their best self who may suffer with poor self esteem, anxiety, depression, loss, post traumatic stress disorder, drug and alcohol abuse and eating disorders
"Seeing the benefits through the journey of change has shown my Clients and I a world of possibilities. The question is - are you ready for change?"
